DC Placement Advisors is pleased to congratulate AMP Capital on the Final Close of its global infrastructure platform, which raised a total of US$ 2,400,000,000. The platform includes the AMP Capital Global Infrastructure Fund and the relaunched Strategic Trust of Europe (SITE). The platform surpassed its US$ 2 billion target. Commitments were obtained from institutional investors from Europe, North America, Japan, the Middle East, and Australia.

DC Placement Advisors acted as the placement agent for the European markets for AMP Capital and its Global Infrastructure Fund. In December 2016, DCPLA was nominated as the placement agent of the year for Infrastructure asset class by PeiMedia´s Infrastructure Investor publication.

Speaking on the occasion of the fundraising for AMP Capital, Nina Dohr-Pawlowitz, DC Placement Advisors´ CEO said  “The total value of infrastructure projects and refinancing has more than doubled since 2010, from approximately USD200 bn to more than USD400 bn in 2015. In the past few years, Europe and Asia-Pacific used to be the largest markets followed by North America and the Middle East and Africa. Western Europe, North America and Australasia remain the most attractive regions from the point of view of global infrastructure investors.

AMP Capital’s global infrastructure platform was a perfect fit for the allocations of our targeted European investors and we are very proud to have received their commitments and contribute to the total amount of investments raised for the platform.

“With this strong fundraise AMP Capital confirms and further extends their position as one of the leading global infrastructure fund managers in the industry”, commented Nina Dohr-Pawlowitz, DC Placement Advisors´CEO.

AMP Capital’s global infrastructure platform reached final close on 29 December 2016.
